What's new
The expressive redesign: a new look throughout, and the list now groups open items by shop type (supermarket, drugstore, hardware, fashion, bakery, butcher, ...) with a tab for your own list and one for the shared list. Capture has two layouts - fullscreen or a one-handed docked sheet - pick whichever suits how you hold your phone. Quick Tap, double-tapping the back of your Pixel, replaces knock detection as the way to jump straight into capture, even from the lock screen. Arriving at a shop with open items still sends a reminder notification; tapping it now opens a focused screen for just that shop's open items instead of the plain list. New resizable home-screen widget shows open items and checks them off directly. Settings, onboarding and login redesigned to match.
